Even with all the interest and discussion that surround science, it is easy for scientists to become the "they" in "they say…" This Nature of Science Podcast series shows the human side of eight young scientists and lets them speak for themselves about what it means to be a scientist. They clarify exactly what science is and use that basis to discuss how they think people should approach controversies such as the debate over evolution and the Big Bang. In doing so, they convey their own sense of wonder towards the world and share what they feel makes science so exciting.
